Successful applicants will show they can confidently co-construct a learning community that is strengths based, where emotional and social skills are explicitly taught, and each child feels they belong and are connected. Experience in trauma informed practice is essential as is evidence of meeting diverse needs, using authentic learning purpose, student voice and whānau inclusion. This permanent position will be in the Year 2 - 4 area of the school commencing Term 1 2021.
